College students would rather take their date out and hang out with their friends at the same time instead of spending time with just their date. This is not as intimate as a date and should not be labeled as one.

A date should be a time when you are able to get to know your partner in a way that you have not had the chance to in the past. A date is time that should be used to get to know your date before entering into a relationship with them.
